Icon Metal is specialised in structural steel for more than 35 years. We are proud to have been part of some exciting infrastructure projects and architectural structural stairs. Our team is always up for the next challenge and will be starting on another project soon.
One of our recent successes was the refurbishment of the Concert Hall at the Sydney Opera House. Taylor awarded Icon the structural steel package to increase the capacity of the concert stage from 8T to 38T by installing structural steel support to the existing World Heritage-listed structure.
Our in-house workshop team did a fantastic job welding the structural steel for the choir stalls, winch room, and portal legs, which was then ingeniously installed by ou site team.
