We are proud to announce that Icon Metal have been awarded the structural steel and glazing package for the University of Sydney J012 project, with Growthbuilt.
This project involves the demolition and full replacement of existing structural steel and glazing, with improvements designed to prevent the rusting issues seen in the previous infrastructure. Our scope includes the fabrication and installation of 90 tonnes of steel and 1,100 sqm of glass panels, a significant undertaking that showcases our expertise in complex structural projects.
One of the challenges of this project is ensuring the new steel aligns perfectly with the existing anchor points, requiring precision in both drafting and installation.
We look forward to working closely with Growthbuilt and TTW Engineering to bring this project to life, reinforcing our commitment to delivering excellence in structural steel and glazing solutions.
